uhhmm i’m sensitive/maybe mildly allergic to soy, so nothing with large amounts of it in it and i don’t like things that are, like, super sugary sweet. other than that, though, i think i’m open to it!!

I like OKC because of the structure and layout, but I do agree about the risk of someone looking through the questions and ignoring you (which is pretty much where I sit. All the time. Waiting for responses back to my comments) or you ignoring someone else because of small details is up there in reasons why I’ve been searching for different sites. That being said, there’s this App “Her” that I’ve tried out and it’s generated a lot of fun and friendly conversations :)

I’ve glanced at Her and it seemed like a really good option! My problem with the swipey apps is that I don’t actually want to date someone right now, I just want to see the general possibility of it, so I feel weird about actually matching with people. 

Especially since my brief dalliance with browsing people in my area has mostly reemphasized in my mind that It’s Time To Move. 

so i was wondering: did staff mark your blog as explicit or did you? cuz it is an option in the blog settings, and maybe you could turn it off there? not sure if that’s what’s going on, but it might be worth it to check

i definitely didn’t and now the option isn’t even available in my settings anymore, as far as i can tell? i don’t know if it’s gone from everyone’s or if it’s because i got flagged. 

Hi beauty! If your blogs vanishes on 12/17, and I do hope it doesn’t, are you still going to be around Tumblr somehow? I mean, first the DD cancellation and now this? I can’t deal with this at all.

The details are kind of confusing but I think 12/17 is when they send out notifactions that you’ve got explicit content on your blog so you can repent your sins and make right with God. And I think if they still have you listed as explicit after that, then they. . block minors from seeing your posts and take you out of searches and stuff? I think? I can’t imagine they’d start deleting people when so many of the flagged posts aren’t remotely explicit.

I’m currently importing 22k posts over to WordPress so I don’t lose anything just in case it gets that dire, but I will definitely make a new Tumblr for the time being, at least. And I’ve got a Pillowfort account now.

In light of tumblr’s newest bork-up, will you be moving to pillowfort? It seems many fandom people I follow are heading that way (as soon as the site is back up [as it’s currently down for security upgrades] that is)

I’m going to set up an account as soon as I can just in case, but I’ll probably wait and see what happens before I move. I might cross-post if there’s a lot of people, though.

ooh, okay, some thoughts from a scrappy, untrained writer (also thank you for saying that!)

MOST IMPORTANT ADVICE: call a dick a dick (or related words). they’re not interesting enough to warrant all the metaphors.

Other Stuff: 

  • let people talk during sex!!!
    • cute romantic swoony talk
    • filthy, filthy dirty talk
    • tense, uncomfortable talk
    • laughing and giggling (more of this pls) 
  • when you can’t figure out how to write a sex position, just google image it and describe whatever porn you see. somewhere in my history, you’ll find many variations on “gay sex on washing machine / in shower / against wall.”
  • i also have a tendency to just straight up describe what’s happening instead of making it pretty? like [x] goes into [y] in [z] way = sex. i think for me it’s the same as the dick thing–we all know what’s happening so it’s not necessary to cloak it in mystery unless you’re just into that. 
  • (i’m also not talented enough to write anything more than the math equation version of sex lol so take everything with a grain of salt!!) 
  • fading to black is great! sometimes, i’m in the middle of a scene and i’m, like, “ugghhh, i think the cuddling afterward is more important than the rest of the sex and writing orgasms is weird” and i just fucking skip it. 
  • writing orgasms is weird 
  • i have no help for that 

i was at a sign language class this week and one of the other students mentioned she was gay, which made me realize she was the first lesbian i have ever met in real life and i just felt this wave of relief and validation, and long story short i almost cried and still might

a) can you make her fall in love with you

b) it’s not quite 6:30am and my brain sleepily supplied something dirty about fingers so that’s just a statement on where my unconscious thoughts are

c) I SO GET THIS. I only knew one other lesbian in high school and I just could not figure out how to talk to her so it was, like, two years of me staring at her silently screaming. so maybe now’s an opportunity for a cool new friend? ASL practicing partner?
